Sister Louise Sutton, a long standing member of this church passed away on Thursday October 09th, 2008 after being home bound and lately after being hospitalized for a short time.
Sr. Sutton was born on the island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. After immigrating to the United States, she became a member of Ebenezer Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was a class leader, youth leader, sunday school teacher and a superindent of the daily vacational bible school in the summer. She was also a member of the Helping Hand Ministry and the Women's Home Missionary Society Ministry.
Sr. Sutton was the mother of two childern, Ernel Paul Sutton who pre-deceased her and Cynthia Cruickshank her loving daughter who took care of her during her long illness. She is also the grand mother of two grand sons, Wesley and Noel Cruickshank.
The body of Sr. Sutton will lie in repose here at Ebenezer on Friday October 17th, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The Homing going service will follow thereafter, burial will be on Saturday October 18th.
