MANSE COMMITTEE

This ministry for the past three years has been the sponsors of the Church's Annual Family Day Picnic. The Manse Committee is comitted to its service to the Lord by serving others.

Angel Tree
The Angel tree Ministry falls under the auspices of PRISON MINISTRIES. It delivers gifts of love and hope to the children of incarcerated parents around the time of Christmas especially, but also provides an opportunity to
reach out to these families at other times of the year. At Christmastime volunteers from Ebenezer deliver gifts to prisoner's children in their parents' name. Children feel
a parent's love, despite their absence.

About Our Ministries
In this section you will find useful informaation about the various ministries and functions of the groups and auxilliaries of the church. There is always something for new members to do at Ebenezer. Once you have become a part of the Ebenezer family, we would like to know what are your particular interests, skills, expertise, etc. Ministry plays a very important part in the life of any church. As Christains we minister because that basically is what Christ did. In the church, members have the opportunity to exercise their God-given gifts in music, ushering, hospitality, preaching, praying, visitation, evangelism, christian education, etc . Each member of the church is therefore a minister in their own right and is called to exercise that function in the church as well as beyond the walls in the name of Christ.

YCP Program
The YCP Program was initiated by the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office with the cooperation of Churches, some time ago to reach out to youth who are involved in the court system. YCP means YOUTH and CONGREGATIONS in PARTNERSHIP.Rather than sending the youth to jail, the youth are mentored by trained individuals from churches who act as their Big Brothers and Big Sisters, guiding them in adopting a positive image of themseves, other people, as well as a positive outlook on life. Ebenezer is one of many churches in Brooklyn involved in this Ministry.
